Print Ads for Curate Snacks

The Challenge: Curate was a new bar brand among 1,200 snack bar SKUs. Their point of difference—unexpected pairings of premium ingredients—could be easily lost in the crowd.

The Solution: My team and I paired Curate snacks with unexpected elements for a Curate print campaign. I wrote all the copy seen below.

Additionally, I proposed bringing two very different authors together for a print ad highlighting the contrasting flavors of a Sweet & Tart Curate bar. To show proof of concept, I wrote in the styles of Judy Blume and Chuck Palahniuk. I studied their published work and recreated their voices as though they were hired by the brand to muse on “sweet and tart.”

What I Learned: I love to absorb a unique voice to write emotive copy. It was one of my favorite projects.

The Dark & Tempting Curate bar needed a dark and unusual image. I wrote the copy for this print ad concept. My favorite line: “Why settle for the usual when you can bring together the unique?”
